Weekly Travel App Roundup
Technology is here to stay, so why not take advantage?
I never leave home without my smartphone, and now I can’t even think about going on a trip without my iPad. So, I want to make sure I’ve got everything I need to get from home to vacation with no headaches.
Each month I’ll feature some of the best travel apps that you can use to make sure you are getting the most out of technology to help you to travel.
PhotosynthOk, ok, I know there are like a billion and one photo apps out there online.
But, would you believe me if I said this one was different?
Good, that’s what I like to hear. What is unique about Photosynth, is that it allows you to take panoramic photos of your favorite destinations, but to the extreme!
Ever been in an awesome location and you wanted to give your friends and family back home a full 360 degree view?
Photosynth allows you to do it. By sort of knitting together photos both horizontally and vertically, if gives you a photo (shareable on social media) that lets viewers check it out both up and down as well as left and right.
Pretty cool, right?
It certainly brings a whole new dimension to making sure you get a shot of some of those incredible vistas, squares, ruins and beaches when out on vacation!
Have you used Photosynth, are you a fan? Would love to hear your views in the comments!
